The Beginning of Charity Free Will Baptist Church

  On January 1, 1986, eleven souls met in the home of Dee and Imalee Wynn and Charity Free Will Baptist Church was established in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

  Lonnie Davault was elected as pastor, Billy Wilson as Sunday School Superintendent, and Imalee Wynn as Clerk/Treasurer. For 8 months they met at a double wide mobile home to conduct services but on Sunday, August 3rd, 1986, a miracle happened. Brother Lonnie received a call from the Pastor from the Faith Free Will Baptist Church that they  are disbanding, and he would like to give the building with all the furnishings to Charity Free Will Baptist Church and Sunday evening services were held in the new building that very night.
